"The room was lovely and clean as were, the bedding and towels. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of variety. Staff polite and helpful. Parking is street parking but I didn't feel worried about my car being parked on the road. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for the lovely stay"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Queensbridge Hotel. The staff were wonderful, and so was the breakfast, with plenty of choice and eggs cooked fresh as needed. First class! However our room was on the back and looked out at scaffolding to the building. Beyond that we saw the mountain which was good. The room was ideal for a family, and on the first floor. The drawback was the lift not working and the dining room was downstairs. The bathroom could have been cleaner with the door having spills down it and dust on the ledges. Lovely people. "

"Started off really well. One of the people from The Crown (which is part of the same group and does amazing food? spotted us walking through town and came and helped us get in the front door. Went downhill from there. The room smelt of cigarettes when we arrive and there were burns in the carpet. The bathroom was filthy. There was a layer of dirt all over the floor, to the point that I thought maybe it was the cover of the floor to start with, until I realised the white bits of floor behind the bath were still white, so it was definitely dirt. Loose bits all over it as well. Bath hadn’t been cleaned and there was dirt in the overflow waste hole on the sink. Bedding and towels were very clean luckily. Tried calling but no answer. Spoke to someone in the morning and they said the manager would contact me but they haven’t. Could’ve really lovely if they sort out the cleaning"

"I couldn’t recommend Rabbit’s View enough to anyone looking for a quirky getaway in an idyllic setting. The property itself is finished to a very high standard throughout and is presented as new upon arrival. The bath in the main bedroom looking across the fields is a real highlight. Location wise you’re situated close enough to Rhayader for food and local shops, and within easy drivng distance of plenty of tourist spots, including Elan Valley and Gigrin Farm (Red Kite feeding ground). We’re already talking about going back when the little one is a few years older."

"We stayed in ‘Hedgehogs View’ for two nights, the location and view were second to none. The privacy of this specific accommodation was perfect as it’s at the top/back of the other ‘hobbit holes’ , so when using the hot tubs and walking around you’re not visible to anybody else. Our initial perspective was that the accommodation was beautiful , great facilities and well styled . Once we’d settled we noticed a lot of black mould spots in the main bedroom , above the bed area and dotted over the ceiling. The bed was extremely uncomfortable , with a very thin matress, the base of the bed being ply wood rather than slats/sprung slats which only accentuated the lack of thickness of the matress. A few little things that don’t work took the edge off the stay also, the bin lid didn’t work, and the mirrors that were supposed to light up in the bedroom/ bathroom didn’t. They stay gave us what we wanted/needed, being a space to relax with stunning views. But for the money I’m not sure I’d return as our sleep was very poor and the mould is something I feel should be addressed ASAP. As it is I’m unsure if I’d recommend based on the above comments."
