この施設について

The Viking Lodge with Sauna

  • A Viking-themed lodge surrounded by woods and pastures. Walks into a hundred-acre woodland on the doorstep, with magnificent views of the Cambrian mountains. Immerse yourself in a different time period while enjoying the comforts of modern life.

    A wooden cabin with an outdoor fire pit and an outdoor seating area (table and two benches). The garden/lawn linked to the cabin is in front as well as behind it. Inside, there is a bedroom with double bed and a sofa bed in the living area suitable for two people. We provide bed linen and towels. There is Wifi, but no TV.

    The kitchen has a gas cooker (stove, oven, and grill), a small fridge, a stovetop kettle, and all the kitchenware necessary for 4 people.

    The living room has an electric infrared panel heater and a portable gas heater. The bedroom has a conventional electric wall-mounted radiator, and the sauna is a traditional electric sauna.

    Dogs are welcome!

We had a very peaceful relaxing stay in a beautiful lodge. We went old school and took board games and cards for the evenings. Perfect for a couple wanting some time away from everything.

We opted for the Viking Lodge as a stop between North and South Wales, and it was delightful. The lodge comes with all the required amenities, fridge, oven, stove, kettle and top notch WiFi. This is something that teenagers seem particularly fond of, and ours were no different. The lodge is set just off a farmhouse, amidst scenic rolling hills in central Wales. The Viking lodge comes with a lovely sauna, which is really easy to operate and delightful to be in. There’s also an inside table and couches and an outside picnic-style table which gives plenty of places to sit and chill in. A particularly pleasant touch was the Viking drinking horns, just adds to the joy. Getting there does have some very small single track roads so worth driving cautiously, the nearest town is about 15 minutes away by car (Tregaron) with a Spar with a good selection of things you can cook, if you do desire to use the oven. They also have a nice chip shop if you’re thinking more takeaway options for dinner. We enjoyed everything about our stay and’s would go again. Is really close to Aberystwyth, and the second most significant cathedral ruins (really close by) in Wales, definite must see. A great stay, lovely amenities, fantastic place to stay. Would happily go again.

What a lovely location to stay in a log cabin, if ever in the area again I'll be booking this location again, if you love a quiet location then this is the place for you

Peaceful, relaxing, scenic and cosy. Hostless checkin was very smooth, welcome email had everything we could possibly need. Beautiful area and beautiful lodge. Saw our hosts a couple of times - lovely people! We were looking for a relaxing, unplugged, recharge stay and that is exactly what we got! Will definitely book again, thank you!
