「Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond.」

「We loved the white Hart Inn, it was our Golden wedding anniversary and everyone was so welcoming and we felt very spoilt. Nothing was too much trouble and the food is amazing as are the portions. Karen was lovely at breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Overall we would definitely return. Loved it.」

「Welcoming staff and lovely pub meals」

「If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. 「The apartment was truly amazing, from the minute you enter the main door, there is a wonderful fragrance. Upon entering the apartment, the deco was ver tasteful and the technology with electric blinds and a mirrored tv were amazing. Its very specious and very clean.The best place I've stayed in.The location is walking distance to everything in Kirkby Lonsdale. The owner went above and beyond, checking we were happy with everything. 」

We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. 」

「Just enjoyed an excellent 2 night stay at The Royal. Booked on recommendations from friends. Set right in the middle of KL, so fantastic location. No carpark, but we had no trouble parking as the general car parks to the front and rear of the hotel and ampld places to park overnight around the hotel. We did have to be mindful of moving the car throughout the day, due to timecrestrictions on car parks and our visit was off peak in January. Not sure how easy parking would be throughout the rest of...

「A clean comfortable and cozy place friendly and welcoming with an attentive staff. We stayed for 4 nights in late November and would stay again. The room was clean and comfortable if a little small, though the en-suite bathroom off an inside hallway didn’t have much heat and was freezing. (It seems the floor heater wasn’t working and the staff couldn’t fix immediately). Aside from that, no issues.
