The Location:
Perfectly positioned to accommodate everyone's interests, the Coconut Coast is flanked by epic coastline threaded together by the Ke Ala Hele Makale coastal bike and walking path. Just a 7-minute walk along the path or the golden sand beach brings you to Lydgate Park, which features two lava rock protected swimming areas - one shallow for the little guys and a deeper one for everyone. The Eastside of Kaua'i features the historic charm, boutiques, and restaurants of Old Town Kapa'a, as well as hiking/kayaking adventures, Fern Grotto boat cruises, and botanical gardens along the Wailua River. All your favorite island activities are in reach! This centralized location is perfect for exploring the natural wonders of Kaua'i, including lush jungles, golden sand beaches, spectacular waterfalls, and the inspiring majesty of the oldest of the inhabitable Hawaiian Islands.

The Home:
Kaha Lani 123 is relaxing and easy! It just underwent a full remodel from top to bottom. Enjoy the one-story, garden-level (no stairs) floor plan with a walkout oceanfront lanai poised on the verdant lawn adjacent to a 2-mile stretch of sandy beach. The trade wind breezes and soothing sound of surf provide cool and comfort for the ultimate beach bungalow ambiance!

The spacious living room, dining area, and adjacent oceanfront lanai offer plenty of room to lounge and relax after a fun day of activities. Enjoy the expansive ocean view, spectacular sun/moon rises, brilliant sunset colors, dolphin spotting, and winter whale watching! The fully loaded brand new kitchen makes it easy to feel at home and have your island favorites on hand.

The primary suite features a queen-sized bed, garden view and ensuite full bath with a walk-in shower.

The garden-view second bedroom is also outfitted with a queen-size bed. The second full bath includes a shower.

With the use of a queen-size fold out couch, the condo can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Kaha Lani enjoys consistent ocean trade winds and is designed to capture and draw them through the home beautifully. For this reason, air conditioning units (which can be intrusively noisy) are not permitted at Kaha Lani. Our unit #123 has ceiling fans throughout, and two portable fans are provided just in case as well.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

This was a fantastic place for us to stay with our kids (14, 11, 8) while adventuring on Kauai. We aren’t beach people, so having access to a pool was a priority. Being able to see/hear the ocean right from the condo was lovely. It was clean, well organized and offered all of the creature comforts we needed. The ocean breeze kept us cool enough, even without AC. The beds were a bit firm for my husband’s liking, but didn’t bother me a bit. We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we wanted

Exactly what we were looking for. Very private complex. Unit was very clean, in great condition and remodeled. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beach stuff was nice to have access to as well.Overall a great unit. Property managers were there to assist when needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo and view; mostly wheelchair accessible

We brought my sister who is dying of cancer to Hawaii one last time. This condo is beautiful, conveniently located and has a gorgeous sunrise view. We needed wheelchair accessible. This place was great! Small step into the house. Wheelchair doesn't fit down the hall though. That worked for us no problem, but wanted to mention it if that matters for you. The management was super friendly and easy to work with Thank you for the memories!!!

Delayed check in, great stay

Are stay here started off a little rocky, with somebody earlier that day apparently locking the deadbolt and taking the key with them? The property managers were on top of it and we're waiting for the locksmith to arrive at 4:00 when we came to check in. Unfortunately, we had just stocked up on food at Costco, amegroceries at Costco

Hawaiian Celebration

We recently spent an unforgettable week at this stunning vacation rental in Hawaii, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrises from the lanai was nothing short of magical. The location couldn't have been better. The beach was just a short walk away, making it easy to spend our days soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal-clear waters. Whether we wanted to surf, snorkel, or simply relax with a good book, the beach was always within reach. We were also thrilled with the local dining options. Just a few minutes' walk from the rental, we discovered several fantastic restaurants offering fresh, delicious Hawaiian cuisine. Whether it was poke, fresh seafood, or tropical cocktails, we were spoiled for choice. The accommodations themselves were top-notch. The rental was beautifully decorated, spacious living area, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the space made it feel like a true home away from home. Overall, this vacation rental provided the perfect base for our Hawaiian adventure. The views, proximity to the beach, delicious food nearby, and excellent accommodations made for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return!

Family vacation to Hawaii

This place was absolutely amazing! Very clean and everything was new and updated. We had a small plumbing problem and they were super responsive and got a plumber to our place on a Sunday morning within hours! Beautiful view of the ocean and we had the beach to ourselves most of the time. There are chairs, snorkels and boogie boards in the outdoor closet (which we didn’t find until the end) which is a great addition so you don’t have to rent them. The pool was clean and heated! Overall amazing place!

There was no A/C. Also, there were no curtains or window blinds in the entire condo. People walking by could see everything you were doing in the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were small, so you have to leave your suitcases in the living room where everybody could see them because there were no blinds or curtains. When I contacted the property manger, she wasn't sure what she could do about no A/C, no blinds and no curtains. We had a washcloth, hand towel and bath towel for each of us. One of the washcloths had makeup on it even after washing it in the washer. I had to use a hand towel for a washcloth. I texted the property manager and it took her over 24 hours to reply back there was an extra washcloth in one of the closets.

Aged beach front condo that are just fine

The property seems very aged and barely maintained. It is nice to have a kitchen but for the price of over $800/night I could have chose to stay at a five star establishment in Oahu. Property managers responded but they didnt check with me if it was fine to charge me $350 extra for a late checkout request. Condo was so small and we were cramped for room, it was also very noisy as we could hear other guests stomping upstairs as well as the roosters that are all over the property. There is a beach trail but just less than a mile away there is a campsite that looked extremely sketchy and unsafe. Beach was not at all maintained and had full of dead branches and debris. Beach front view was nice but nothing special to write home about.

False Expectations

This property is in a great location for exploring the island and viewing sunrises. The grounds on the property were very well kept. The rental itself was disappointing. It was old and dated. It needed more than a regular clean. It needed a deep in every room. All of the appliances need to be replaced. Most concerning was a smoke detector that kept going off (while no cooking was being done) and we were texted to disconnect it. We were expecting someone to come and fix it, apparently it wasn't a priority for them. This property has lots of potential, but didn't meet our expectations.

Nice Place, Dirty Room

The location, the view and the vibe of the place were great. The room unfortunately, was dirty when we got there. A used wash cloth was hanging in the spare shower, the stove had not been cleaned off and the floor was really dirty. The key lockbox that held the door key was corroded and very difficult to get into and the door lock was cantankerous. The shower curtain in the main bedroom was still too short. The floor gets flooded when you take a shower. It seems to me the owner would want that fixed immediately. The kitchen is extremely outdated but functional. I realize the pandemic has been difficult but at the same time, the room prices are expensive. The sunrise is beautiful and all the employees very nice. Peace Out.

Great location and beach

This was a great location and beach. There is no air conditioning, just fans, but the constant breezes off the ocean make it comfortable at night in July and tolerable by day, not that you will be inside much during the day. The best picnic table in the world is just east of the sea grape, and the chickens act as a great alarm clock for the spectacular sunrises.

Amazing Views!

Perfect for our family! Great location, good layout, close to food, shopping, etc. The views can't be beat. The condo was well-stocked, clean, and cozy. The only issue we had was that the shower in the master bedroom leaked onto the bathroom floor. Overall, our stay was lovely. I would definitely recommend this property. We will be back:)

Kauai Trip

Overall this was a wonderful property. The best feature of all was the incredible view! Took a few stars off for the accuracy of the online listing because when we booked it stated the 2nd bedroom had two twins, however shortly before our trip we were notified it was changed to one queen. But unit was very well appointed and had everything we need for a great stay. Very convenient location as not to far from airport, but also close to great beaches and amenities. There were beach chairs, towels, and even a wagon to haul stuff to the beach which was greatly appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked, only missing a few things here and there. Beds were comfy, pillows needed a little help, but there were extra in the front cabinet. No AC, but always had a nice ocean breeze. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool, didn’t need to with the beach right in front of you. Overall would definitely recommend and for sure come back.

Perfect for a family

The property is oceanfront on a beautiful sandy beach with a lovely rock pool for easy swimming with young children a short walk away. Our children loved visits from the neighborhood chickens and cats. The property was well maintained and the property management responded quickly. A convenient location on the ‘coconut coast’ for day trips.

Absolute Paradise

Felt like home. Spectacular Sunrise. Sunsets were great too. Sand was so fine and perfect. The home was perfect for us. Evening meals were special. This place has everything a family would need for a week long vacation.

Love the view and setting!!

We loved staying here!!. There were 6 of us, with 4 adults and 2 children. I think its set up best for 4 people. They asked, and we did request to have to two twin beds made into a king, but it wasn't done. The use of an air mattress was not comfortable, but otherwise we loved the set up, and the property and pool were great. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to go to Kapa'a or Lihue for food. We liked being on the ground floor where we could just go outside the door and set on the chairs and kids could run on the grass. Be aware that chickens run free on Kaua'i, and roosters crow early in the morning. I got to where I'd go out at dusk and make sure they were not roosting near a window. We had a blissful several days before someone came into the unit above us. we could barely hear the kids running around in the early mornings, but it wasn't as loud as in a hotel, and we were barely there much to notice at other times. It didn't list soaps and shampoo etc. on the amenities, so we brought some...but they did have some there to use. Over all I'd come back to this unit again in the future, but with less than 6 people.

Lovely January Visit

Apartment is spacious, clean, well organized and has everything you might need. Communication was over the top excellent. Fantastic, beautiful view. Sunrises were a lovely way to wake up every morning. Management - Shellah was a delight to work with, always helpful and answered every question we threw at her. There is a great walkway (concrete sidewalk) in front that allows long walks along the shore...about a mile in each direction. Highly recommend...good central location on the East shore.

Being on the beach in Hawaii, have to expect moisture and beach like conditions. The kitchen appliances are a little dated but all work and kitchen has everything one could need. Air mattress is comfortable and bedrooms very nice. However, location, location, location! Absolutely gorgeous views and only a quick short walk to a swimming beach. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Kaua’i on a medium size budget.

Nice location but dated and not worth the value.

The location is very nice. You can see the water easily from the room. The beach isn’t very usable for swimming but nice sand to sit by. The listing said it slept 6 which we notified the owner we had but really only slept 4. The sofa is rusted out and does not have a usable sofa bed. We had one guest sleep on the floor until they brought a blow up mattress the next day. The unit is very dated and not super clean. It was nice having laundry in the condo to do a quick load when needed. The property manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We like the east side of the island but would not stay here again going forward.
