「A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. 「+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. 「Stayed at Adventure Base Camp for a day of river rafting which was awesome. Great facility for the area. AC worked really well. Only issues are that the lower rooms in our building had some mold on the wall (but understandable due to the high humidity in the area) and the beds were a bit uncomfortable.」

「Had an incredible experience staying here and seeing it in person far exceeded what I expected from the photographs. The host was extremely helpful, the breakfast and dinner was so delicious and they have all the activities to book on sight making it a one stop shop. 「Dirty beds, bedsheets and bathroom. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Bathroom was leaking and dirty with spiders and spiderwebs. Room is like a jail, no windows. It was a horrible experience. I advise travellers to stay at Hatton and travel to Nallandeniya on time to clime Adam's peak.」
