"Lovely hotel on a great site in the heart of Langkawi. Shops, eating and beach close by. Initially we were allocated a room on the ground floor with not a lot of room and one narrow window overlooking an access road. We were very disappointed. After some discussion we agreed for a 5 day stay this was not acceptable and we would either check out or pay for an upgrade. We spoke to Andrew on reception and he listened and resolved our concerns. Agreeing to a move the next day - as it was late. The process was undertaken seamlessly the next day. We had a pool view and a fabulous room. I can’t thank him enough - he was exemplary. No fuss just excellent customer service. No extra payment required either. The layout of the hotel and breakfast etc was excellent. Sunbeds were a little scarce but we always managed to get one. There is room to add extra beds and that should be considered. So don’t hesitate to book this hotel. Go for a pool view if possible, breakfast also is a must. "

"Pelagi resort is an excellent choice for Langkawi. The position in front of the beach and the proximity to Cenang’s activities.Room, pools, gym and general communal areas are great. Staff is impeccable- polite and efficient. Food is very good but not amazing though although breakfast buffet is extensive in variety. Definitely we would come back should we visit Langkawi again."

"All of the staff were friendly and helpful and even organised transport to a local spa for massages which were very good value. Our room was air conditioned, cleaned daily and toiletries, towels and drinking water were also replenished. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. There was a 15 minute walk into the touristy beach area but that suited us. The bar and restaurant food were reasonably priced and available until late. The pool was a haven in the heat with poolside food and drinks available. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return."

"We had a problem with the initial room and the staff was gracious and moved us. We had booked a balcony room for the sunset view of the ocean and unfortunately the glass barriers on ours were completely dirty and streaked so unless standing no view. All others looked clean. This was important to me, they listened and moved us. I was grateful. Bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the location great. Beach was just across the street down a public access. 5 minute walk but they would shuttle you as well if needed. Great overall service and would definitely book again. "
