"A super fun property with many available activities of indoor and outdoors. Bob the host was communicative and very helpful. The house has a very unique design, which is really interesting to see in person. Each of the seven bedrooms was comfortable, and each of the bathrooms was clean and had sufficient water pressure. Would definitely stay again."

"This has to be the cleanest place we have stayed at! Lots of little "extras" that made the stay even more enjoyable: snacks, drinks, beach towels, two large stacks of firewood, a super clean grill with a full propane tank, dog treats, and dog bowls, just to name a few! Communication was always quick and positive. A personal note upon arrival made us feel extra welcomed. Great place with a nostalgic feel (the Montgomery Ward appliances in pristine condition were fun). A mile from a park with a beach and a dog beach. Small farm markets nearby. Whippy Dip with HUGE ice cream (recommend the kiddy size) just down the street, along with a great wineyard/winery. Within 30 minutes of many different towns and activities."

"Jeff was a very good host. The property was beautiful. Accommodations were amazing. The bedrooms were all equipped with fans due to having no air conditioning. The house kept cool in the evenings while we were there and even got a bit chili. The guest who stayed in the bedroom with the twin beds indicated the mattresses were too soft for their liking, however the other bedrooms were perfect. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and spices. The bathrooms had ample toiletries. We were impressed Jeff left us a box of chocolates and also stocked the bathrooms with good quality toilet paper! The babbling brook was a bonus- but too cold for us to get take a dip. This was the perfect spot for the girls to stay for our golf trip!"

"We loved the house! It was perfect for us! Our kids love nature, so having access to the community pond was very fun for them. This is shared by all the homes around the area. There are many turtles, bass, and bluegill in the pond. They are used to being fed bread and will follow you along the shore. There is a shared paddle boat, which the kids also had fun with. Swimming is allowed but the area is a little weedy. The beds were not the most comfortable, but were fine for the trip. We loved the hot tub! We did not use the firepit, but it was very nice! The air conditioning is SUPER cold, so if you run hot in the summer, you will love it. The home is about 1 hour to Traverse City or the bridge, so a great location to see several sites in Northern MI from a central home base. I was so appreciative that they allowed our dog. He also had a blast! HIGHLY recommend! :)"
