Wonderful house and well situated to Tahoma and beaches.

Nicely appointed house. Kitchen well stocked with good quality appliances, pots, pans, dishwear and utensil. New bedding was comfortable and appreciated. Checkin and check out procedures were very easy. Will stay again next summer.

Great stay!

We spent close to 3 weeks and enjoyed every second. The house was a short walk to the lake, which we enjoyed almost everyday. The house had all that you need for a comfortable stay!

Comfortable and homey stay

Enjoyed our stay with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed using the deck right outside the living room especially in the afternoons when the deck was shaded. We’d be happy to rent this home again in the future.

Beautiful home!

This is an amazing property in a beautiful setting nestled in the woods. The home has been recently remodeled with a beautiful kitchen and updated bathrooms. Can't say enough about the tasteful decor - comfortable and cozy. The location is perfect - close to a local market and walking distance to a beach.

Summer vacay

We had the best experience here. Nancy was also a fabulous host, super responsive and provided all details that prevented us from having to ask any additional questions. Not to mention the house was SPOTLESS. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend this property to anyone.

Peaceful, Light and Bright, Clean, Pretty Home

The upstairs is particularly pretty and light-filled. With the surrounding trees, you feel like you are in a treehouse. The main bedroom and bathroom are gorgeous. The kitchen had everything we needed and was spacious. The downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant. We had enough space for 5 adults and 3 kids to not feel crowded. Plenty of towels and washcloths, all of very nice quality. Definitely the best Tahoma rental I’ve ever stayed in.

A beautiful home

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The reservation process was easy and the owners were so responsive. We really liked the open design of the house and the lovely backyard area that allowed us to enjoy the snow. We have rented this unit twice in the last 3 years and our experience has been amazing on both occasions.

What an enjoyable stay

The house was very clean, new and so welcoming. The neighbors were quiet. We had a 3 yr old and an 8 yr old. The kids discovered a park down the street and had a great time playing. My bed was so comfortable better then my own bed. I think i need to upgrade. What a wonderful experience! Thank you to the owners!

Clean, quiet, comfortable, many things to do nearby

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully updated. It's very spacious and we really enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck. There's quite a few things within walking distance - a couple places to eat, a market, the bike path, a nice little beach, and Sugar Pine State park where we were easily able to access a trail. Great spot and we will definitely book again!

Immaculate!

My friends and I arrived to an incredibly clean and cozy home perfectly equipped for the 8 of us to have a relaxing weekend. Beds were very comfy and there are plenty of blankets to keep warm. The neighborhood is nice and quiet allowing us to fully appreciate the natural scenery. The two restaurants within walking distance, The Dog & Bear Tavern and Cult Burger, have a variety of delicious meals. My friends and I especially loved Cult Burger with their fried chicken sandwich available on Friday. The Sugar Pine Point State park, also within walking distance, has beautiful trails that includes a bridge over a lovely stream which is perfect for a group photo. We all loved it so much we plan to go again this summer so we can get some hiking done on the beautiful Tahoe trails. I highly recommend this home if you want something clean, cozy, and quiet.

Family Time in Tahoe!

This place was great. My friends and I loved it. So many awesome things to do close by—finally tried the Dog and Bear! So good. The home was very clean, and the owner was great to deal with. We will be back again for sure.

Great home for our family vacation!

This was a beautiful, clean, and well decorated home in the quieter town of Tahoma. There were 3 couples in our party and fit us all comfortably. The house had all the amenities and comforts of home and was user friendly including the backyard games! We loved the forest in this area and we’re still able to reach Tahoe City within 15 mins and the North and South side of the lake with 40-50 with pretty drives. We went in early August and recommend hitting the beach early if you want a front row spot - we went to Meeks and front row was gone by 11am. Nancy was very communicative and helpful with any questions. Would highly recommend!

Nice place, but unconfirmed bed bugs ruined our stay.

House was nice as seen in pics. Nancy was kind and communicated well. However, 1st day killed a bug in the Master bed, 2nd day killed two bugs, 3rd day killed one bug. After internet research and image comparisons, the bugs looked a lot like bedbugs. Communicated with Nancy about them. Sent a picture. She explained that unfortunately, it won't help, as bugs are common in Tahoe. Nancy asked if we could catch one and leave it under the sink. We did the morning we left. Unfortunately, my sister's family uncomfortably slept in the living room from Wed-Fri night in case our suspicion was valid. Nancy investigated the Saturday we left. She checked all beds. Bugs were only found in the Master bed's box spring. Replied, she "does think" they are bedbugs, but couldn't confirm cause she wasn't an expert. Eventually, Nancy communicated that the exterminator said they were "bugs" but couldn't verify the name of the different bugs. Shouldn't the expert know? We went home feeling uncomfortable. Once home, did everything we needed to do to make sure we didn't take the "bugs" and/or eggs home. Washed everything in extreme heat. Nancy was apologetic. She refunded only $500 because we stayed there. But we felt we had no choice but to do so. Where would we have stayed? It's not like we could have gotten another house. Bedbugs obviously ruined our stay there. I don't think we will stay at a VRBO again. After that fact, I think we should have left the house and asked for a full refund from VRBO.

Great location

Our family had a wonderful time at this house in Tahoma. Convenient location. Short stroll to the lake. Close to everything. Spotless inside. Plenty of towels etc. Washer dryer. Bocce ball court too. Gas grill works great as well. Highly recommend this spot.
