「The property was even nicer than the pictures, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud!Our host was gracious and beyond helpful. Any time we had a question the response time was very quick.The surroundings are as peaceful as advertised-I think the only thing we heard was a dog in the distance.The property is only a few minutes outside Hendersonville-maybe 3-5. Everything in easy reach!」

「We were able to book both units in this duplex for a family holiday gathering. Certainly, we could not have found anything better located in Black Mountain. As the property description indicates, we were just five minutes from the center of this lovely small town and five minutes from Lake Tomahawk Park. All of us, including our dogs, enjoyed our stay in Take-a-Hike.」

「Decided on a last minute getaway and were lucky enough to find this little apartment A unit in an older home, very compact and clean .We walked to all food and drink options all weekend. A short drive to hike nearby Lookout Mountain on Friday morning. Safe location and I’d come here even as a single woman. Loved it and will be back! Note there are stairs and no elevator to our room but there were downstairs rooms. Pet friendly. Kitchenette and fridge. New shower in tiny bathroom. 」

「It is tucked away in small street surrounded by nature. The porch offers lovely seating from which to enjoy the surroundings. We had only an overnight getaway and we loved the cozy house which was meticulously clean. The hosts were wonderful. They were in touch with us before and during our stay. The link they sent with all the rules and and instrctions for operatiing the themostats and such was very helpful. We will definitely stay again for our next getaway. 」
