"Place was remodeled in 2018. Our room was clean however had paint hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. In addition the door was broken at the base in the bathroom There was a large dumpster to catch water from a dripping tile near the main lobby. Plan to get there early as parking can be quite a hike."

"Wonderful home and so very comfortable and clean. The peace of the surrounding mountains and land was so beautiful. Beds were comfortable and den/ living area was perfect. Kitchen was well thought out and equipped for all our cooking needs. We will be back. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful with things to do and restaurants in the area. So glad we found d it."

"Loved the screened in porch and spent much time enjoying that part of the house. Everything was clean and great for our family of 6. There is no central A/C but window units kept it fairly cool. It’s a short walk, or even shorter drive, to all the amenities at Lake Junaluska, so the location was great too. There is no beach area to enjoy, but one was pictured in the rental pics, so that was a bit misleading."

"We had an excellent stay in this spacious, warm home. The two sunrooms were bright and relaxing, and the screened porch quickly became our favorite spot for eating outside and playing games. The kitchen’s generous size made meal prep easy and comfortable for our group. The house offers plenty of both public and private spaces, giving everyone room to be together or take a little quiet time apart. It’s a very inviting place and perfect for a comfortable getaway."

"This house was a delight. The cleanest and best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a rental, many home-y thoughtful extras like local soaps and coffee, fantastic seating, lovely accessories that added comfort, and the piano and shuffleboard were so so fun. While the number of bathrooms was a challenge at times for our large number of people, the rest of the house was just so lovely. Our family/friends with mobility challenges were able to use the path above the driveway to avoid the steps up/down and that was a big help, as was the ability to load/unload closer to the front door with the roadside access area. The bunk room was also great - 100% would book again!"

"Lisa’s cozy lake home was very welcoming and clean with comfortable beds. Aside from having plenty of towels, soaps, dishware and glasses, Lisa provided many small extras (eg. coffee, condiments, snacks, umbrellas) to make our stay enjoyable. The dead end street location is a short walk to the lake, pool, tennis/pickleball courts and meeting spaces yet is quiet and peaceful. Like much of the homes at Lake Junaluska, this is an older home which required us to run the a/c regularly to keep it comfortable. We thank Lisa for sharing her home with us and would not hesitate to stay here again!"
