「Great stay for a family of 8, the only gripe was the main sofa was difficult for the older members of our party to get in and out of. All the other facilities were top class.」

「Cute cottage. Nice to be next to the river and appreciated the designated parking spot. Would have liked a few more amenities like shower gel in the bathroom and paper towels and cooking oil in the kitchen. 」

「A beautiful cosy piece of heaven. Fantastic accommodation with stunning views. Time has totally stood still (you forget about time or what time it is) 100% relaxed as soon as walk through the door. Would highly recommend staying at this location and property.」

「Small but perfect for 2. Close to all keswick's restaurants, pubs, shops and cinema. Also close to a main road, which can be noisy during the day. Easy drives for the central and northern fells, as well as cumbria's west coast. Designated parking spot, which is a real bonus in such a busy town. Kitchen well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Would definitely book skiddaw view again.」

「Lovely cottage and location . We ended up staying an extra night as no one was booked in . Only minor fault was stuff in the welcome pack and cupboards was out well of date so we never got to use the coffee machine . Certainly didn’t spoil our holiday .」

「wonderful location with cozy pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Hikes walks and bike trails a stones throw away. The cottage was beautiful and provided everything you could need to have a night in after a day of adventure.」

「Very central position. Added bonus was parking outside property. Flat is quite small but adequate for a short break as a couple with small dog. Only real gripe we were unable to use one wardrobe as vacuum cleaner was stored in wardrobe.」

「The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.」

「The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. Other than that, just a beautiful home from home and an incredible team at Keswick Cottages!! If you’re thinking about booking with them…just book…right now!!」
