Cozy cabin with gaming fun and some street noise

Nice place to stay with our family. Great gaming amenities for kids/adults of all ages. Unfortunately we found the street noise to be more than we like in the bedrooms. Parking spaces are a little tight.

Super fun cabin to relax, play games and enjoy forest views

As advertised, the game room did not disappoint. The kids loved the arcade games (and the adults too). Just note, if you have multiple people playing the video games, at the chess table, and playing pool, the pool players have to be careful they don't whack other folks in the room. Danny (owner) was super communicative on the days prior to, during our stay, and during our checkout. He responded quickly to an incident in the house that involved carpet tack strip and little feet and had a handy person come to take care of the tacks so no other incidents occurred. He also was responsive regarding the pinball machine when we had issues and we really appreciated that too. Really appreciated that he had the house ready before the check in time, but we couldn't make it up to enjoy the place earlier. Will be keeping this place in our favorites the next time we are going to Lake Arrowhead. Note to those who have mobility issues, there is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor so that's good and no need to go up and down stairs except from the parking spots. The game room is located at the lower level and the other two bedrooms are on the second floor.

Wonderful Getaway

Just want to say that Danny is awesome. He is very communicative and concerned with his guests. The cabin has a very relaxing, yet fun atmosphere. The view from the deck is perfect and the gameroom is full of activities. Thank you for sharing your cabin!!

There was a snowstorm during our stay, which we had very little experience dealing with. Danny was super helpful with answering our questions, and with arranging for the driveway to be cleared. Overall, great experience!

Cozy cabin

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin for a weekend with family. It is very cozy and the decor around the cabin is wonderful. The game room is a major plus. The house could’ve been cleaner, particularly the kitchen, but it was fine for a weekend stay. The host was wonderful, he was very easy to reach and was very friendly. He even allowed us to stay past our checkout time as there was no reservation following ours. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin fit our needs so well! We enjoyed the plentiful games downstairs, the large kitchen table fit everyone, and the nearby town center was close. It was a nice place to get away and spend quality family time. The only drawback was the lack of lighting for night. It felt really dark. Other than that, the owner is so accommodating and thoughtful. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect Family Rental

This a lovely home that is perfect for families. It is spotlessly clean and very nicely furnished. The game room is terrific and the decks offer amazing views. Its a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The owner Danny was very helpful and communicative and offered many hints to enhance our stay. We look forward to returning to this wonderful place.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed in this awesome cabin over Memorial Day weekend. We needed a change of scenery despite the Corona situation, and we were happy to have a cabin that had it all! The game room was a big hit with our two kids, 5 and 9. We all spent a lot of time having fun down there. There was a nice supply of DVD's for movie night, the beds and furniture were comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view was lovely, decks were relaxing, and the house was quiet and clean. We loved all the personal touches around the house. While there we walked around the lake, using the lake passes the owner supplied. When there was an issue with the passes (due to Covid, of course), Danny, the owner helped right away and got everything worked out for us immediately. Danny was definitely one of the most conscientious, helpful and kind owners we've rented from. You can tell he really cares about the renters' experience. I was a little worried about the cabin's location, as we had never visited Arrowhead before. I always like to be as walkable to places as possible. As you can see on the map, you can't walk to the lake or the downtown area, but after visiting and spending some time at the lake and downtown, I'm very happy we weren't right in the "action," especially during the time we went. Don't get the wrong idea though, we were only minutes away from the lake and from downtown, and parking wasn't an issue anywhere, even during the holiday weekend. We were very happy with our stay and are still talking about how much fun we had weeks later. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in this cabin again! Thank you Danny!

My stay

This was the best Birthday weekend spent with my family and everyone loved the house. We relaxed on the deck and the boys had a ball in the game room. This was our first time using VRBO and really wasn’t to sure how it worked. Danny emailed me with the information and was so kind to answer all my questions. Overall we had the best time and looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

Nice cozy cabin with an awesome game room!

Spent the weekend with the family and had a lovely time. The cabin met all of our expectations and additionally the location of the cabin was near by shopping centers which came in handy for grabbing a bite to eat. Overall this was a great place to spend the weekend and for a group of 9 the three floors fit perfectly as everyone split from the game room to living room to (2) patios and rooms.

Relaxing Get-a-way

We stayed here for a week, post Christmas and through NYE...great time! The weather ranged from 40 - 20 degrees - it was very cold. The cabin was clean and as pictured with a wonderful game room and a wood burning fireplace! The game room has every game you can imagine including darts and craps, poker, etc. The 3 levels were wonderful; however, the bottom floor, the game room only had one vent so it was extremely cold unless we turned the heater up to 68 degrees which then made the other 2 floors much too warm and the carpet smelled musty. The sleeping arrangements, ideally is 9 people - assuming 4 couples or people that don't mind sleeping together, assuming one in a twin top bunk bed, and this includes 2 people on the queen futon in the main living room area. The problem with the futon bed is that there is no "sleeping in" or privacy once everyone else gets up. While there are 2 cots that could sleep 2 additional guests, there's really no space to put the cots unless you want to be on the bottom floor where it was extremely cold. If you go to the cabin in the winter like I did, make sure to prepare for firewood to be delivered so you can enjoy the fireplace. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the pots, pans and dishes one could need, as well as a BBQ on the patio. While there were 2 decks, it was much too cold to enjoy them. The beds were pretty comfortable and the bedding was sufficient and warm. I brought blankets and extra pillows and didn't need them. There plenty of very nice towels and linen for showering. Be ready to purchase/supply your our body soap, toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, dish soap and detergent for the washing machine, if needed. An issue that's worth noting, is the trash collection situation. If you dine in for most meals, like we did every day, this may present the issues we experienced. There are 3 medium size trash cans that fit approximately 2 regular kitchen sized full trash bags which filled up very quickly. On the fourth day of 7 days the trash collection was so full we had to make a trip to the dump in order to accommodate the balance of the week and negate the $5 per bag charge if bags left. Overall our experience was positive and Danny, the owner, was very nice and available throughout our stay. I would recommend this cabin for anyone who is looking for a relaxing and fun get-a-way!

Wonderful getaway!
