Great location with many restaurants and cafe choices outside your front door. No elevator, but staff will help with carrying luggage up the stairs.」

「Don’t expect to be wowed at this hotel. Everything is pretty basic, but it was clean and the staff very friendly. We only stayed one night before boarding a cruise ship and it was ideal for that, but you wouldn’t want to stop there for a holiday.」

The sea view rooms have a stunning view of the waves as well as the pool and restaurant. There were so many great breakfast options to choose from in the mornings. The restaurant dinner menu was varied and the food was great too. I spent two nights there in between cruises and it is only one train stop away from the cruise port or a short drive. 「We loved the Palazzo Podestà in Civitavecchia! It was above and beyond our expectations. The property was an amazing getaway with luxurious amenities and looks like a dream. The enormous junior suite had high ceilings and a large balcony with spectacular views of the water.
