"We had to take our six-month-old to the hospital and the staff was extremely helpful with communicate at 4:00 in the morning. It was a great stay and extremely grateful for the staff and their helpfulness."

"Hotel Granvia Kyoto is a very nice, clean, and exceptionally well-positioned hotel. The location is excellent, with plenty of food, entertainment, and shopping nearby. The amenities felt somewhat lacking from a Western perspective. Having to pay an additional fee to use the gym, for example, seems unusual compared with typical U.S. hotel standards. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the corridors, which were not particularly clean and had a noticeable cigarette smell. That detracted from an otherwise very pleasant stay. Admittedly, some of these impressions may reflect differences between Japanese and U.S. hotel standards. Staff was excellent and very accomodating"
