"My wife and I stayed in Hotel Global View for 4 nights in July 2025. In most ways it is a typical Japanese hotel: clean, good service, small room. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good. The WIFI is our room was weak and intermittent. The hotel's location is OK, with lots of izakayas nearby. It's rather far from the train station, if you plan to use the train for day trips."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The air conditioner was not working well, making the room extremely hot throughout the night, even with the windows open. To cope, I had to tilt the air purifier to point at me just to cool down a bit. On the positive side, the water pressure in the shower was generally good, making for a decent short shower. "5/5. New rennovations, the inside is beautiful and aesthetic. Staff were phenonmenal. Breakfast, dinner and drinks were great. Right on the water, breautiful clean rooms. Recommend staying here over other locations on Lake Akan"
