A better hotel in the past.

Nice hotel centrally located. Good gym and pool. I liked the room except the AC could only be switched on or off - the thermostat did not work. And the window no longer opens - it was screwed shut, which made the air in the room very stale.

Great friendly staffs. The hotel room are so run down that most of the stuffs are spoiled. Cloaked bath tub, hot water not working at times, Soaked carpets, smelly blanket due to high humidity etc etc. The condition of the stay dont justify 4 stars at all.

A Centrally Located, Full-Service Hotel

This is a centrally located hotel with two restaurants. I chose this hotel primarily for the onsite restaurants and river view. Sometimes it is easier to eat there than to search for a restaurant outside the hotel, especially if you are new to the area, or do not know where to go. I would say, if you have plenty of time, a little walking could take you to some other eateries as well. If spice is not a problem, you could be enjoying some of Kelantan's exotic cuisines, such as Haji Ismail Sumatra Restaurant. and Meena Curry House, and for a very reasonable price. The roti prata is quite different from those in Singapore and is available at Mars Cafe. If you enjoy Chinese food, there is a hawker center approx. 10 min. walk from the hotel. You could easily walk to nearby museums and attractions, as well as the handicraft center (shopping for souvenirs) from this hotel. The lobby staff (including the doormen/doorwomen) were courteous and helpful. If you need to go anywhere, they could assist you with a taxi. The hotel laundry service is excellent with a superb turnaround time (i.e. they deliver by the promised day and time). I enjoyed my stay here and I think you would too.

Würden das hotel nicht mehr wählen

Es handelt sich um ein typisches Hotel, bei dem die Fotos im Internet, die Außenansicht und die Eingangshalle ein wunderbares Bild zeigen. Die Zimmer inkl. Bad und auch der Pool lassen aber dann doch einige Wünsche offen. Wir würden das nächste Mal ein anderes Haus (z.B. das IBIS) wählen.

Table lamp and lamp shade were dusty. Room smell is unpleasant. The food for sahur is limited and no variety. The towels were torn and greyish color. Lamp stand is unavailable thus the room was not that bright begin with. The price was not reasonable with the service. But the staff especially the parking staff was very friendly and helpful.

I booked seaview room as mentioned in the description, but what I have been given was cityview room. The most dissappointed for me was I have to smell smoke along the way to my room, hence i got flu caused of that.
