The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Kobe Port. For the price, the quality of the accommodation exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kobe."

"Clean n fresh rooms. Quiet hotel despite near kobe train station. So a breeze to travel via train even with luggages. Breakfast is average but sufficient. Lots of restaurants cafe mini mart and supermarket within 5-10mins walk. Near a big mall connected by a bridge. Convienent n yet not overly crowded area. Will stay again in kobe!"

"Perfect hotel! It’s is perfectly placed next to everything you need and walking distance to the station. The hotel itself is very clean, spacious with great views, very classy and very nice staff. You can see the property is well kept and cared for. I will certainly stay here again without any hesitation on my next visit and stay in Kobe. The room was huge, especially by Japanese standards. Also one thing I loved was how the aircon kept a very comfortable atmosphere in the room, including the toilet"

"When a property offers a gym and a hot and ice bath facility, then it has the capacity to really please its guests. I loved using both of those areas. However, when on one night the room is valued at AU$176.and the next night it is AU$53, you sort of raise an eyebrow!!! The restaurant called The Harbour provides a very decent buffet, that is overpriced given there is no opportunity to eat past 9 pm. The HANGOUT on the top floor is wonderfully located but the staff didn’t have a clue what was going on regarding reservations. At the entrance near reception is a claim to be internationally known, yet no one speaks English and neither is there an English menu. I think the property is poorly led, because the staff are very transactional and do not appear to have a sense of mission and awareness as to what they are creating. This property could be so much more. I recommend it, if health facilities are important to you. Bernie Kelly"

"I absolutely loved my stay at Kobe Plaza Hotel and would happily book it again on my next visit. The room was surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with an efficient layout that made it feel even larger. The bed was comfortable and I especially appreciated the in-room humidifier and individually adjustable air conditioning, which made a huge difference during the hot and humid weather. The room was also very quiet despite being in such a central area. The hotel offers a wonderful selection of amenities, including complimentary toiletries and welcome drinks, which were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It is conveniently located near both JR Motomachi Station and the Sannomiya area, making it easy to explore Kobe and take day trips. There are countless restaurants, cafés, shops and convenience stores nearby. Kobe Chinatown, local markets, shopping arcades, and the beautiful harbor waterfront are all within walking distance. Although the surrounding area can get busy during rush hour, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet throughout my stay. It was the perfect combination of convenience and comfort. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way."
