"This was genuinely the best stay I have ever had. The room and facilities were great, the food was utterly amazing, and the staff were so welcoming and caring. I spent four nights here and I wish I could stay for longer. While it’s a bit expensive, it is worth every yen. The staff was so helpful and made sure every second I spent there was incredible. I really cannot recommend this place enough!"

"The staff was very kind and accommodating, the traditional style room was beautiful next to the mountains and very comfortable."

"This intimate, family-owned inn has only two rooms, allowing you to truly get to know the wonderful family behind it. Breakfast was lovingly prepared by the lovely older lady who owns the inn—it was delicious, comforting, and felt like a home-cooked meal. Our only complaint is that we wish we had planned to stay longer! It was easily one of our best stays during our three weeks in Japan. Highly recommend!"

"Great service and facilities. Very quiet. Close to everything you could want."

"Affordable Japanese Ryokan. Very comfortable and clean, just a bit hard to communicate since it seems that none of their staff could speak English. But overall a very memorable experience in Kinosaki!"
