"We stayed here so we were close to the start of the Koyasan Choishi Michi pilgrim trek. the owner picked us up from the Kudoyama station and then insisted on taking us to a supermarket to get provisions and finally to a restaurant. he was extremely friendly and accomodating. the place itself was spaceous, clean and well set up. the views over the valley were beautiful. highly recommended"

"Stale old place that doesn’t live up. Breakfast consisted of persimmon-hushing from a store tossed at the table the night before. Cold water and a tiny toilet only. The onsen „experience“ was a 20 min drive away, how relaxing is that. Needless to say, I did not stay at this dump. I booked a hotel close by for the same price, it was excellent and delivered an amazing breakfast too, besides having an in-House onsen"
