The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. "It was nearly empty so we were upgraded. Usually I think there would be a lot of people. Rooms were excellent and service good. Food was simple but for the price I can’t complain. "

We enjoyed the indoor onsen and slept soundly in our traditional accommodations. The food was very impressive, so carefully presented and delicious. "The space was way larger than we expected. The place was beautiful and so clean. Pretty close to two different train stations which was fantastic. The host left instructions on how to use the bath (pre-fill option was great) and other tips for the city. Nice quiet neighborhood and a vending machine right across the street was super useful too! 10/10 would stay again."
