We had a wonderful stay at Waikawau Retreat. The home is beautifully private and perfectly positioned, with uninterrupted sea views that instantly help you slow down and unwind.The covered deck was a real highlight—spacious, sheltered, and ideal for entertaining, whether it was morning coffee with the ocean as a backdrop or relaxed evenings watching the sun go down. Inside, the house felt comfortable and well thought out, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.Overall, Waikawau Retreat offers a peaceful, scenic escape with everything you need for a memorable coastal getaway. Awesome place for family

This home is an awesome place as a base. Arrived on Friday and was amazed by the sun set view. Kids loved the outdoor area. Finding skinks.Saturday took kids on a charter boat for fishing, short 30min drive. Younger kids and wives visited local bays.Once again awesome spot.Would recommend this home.

Great place to stay with stunning sea views of the Firth of Thames.

Beautiful three story house with everything you need. Amazing sea views and walk to the beach where we caught snapper off the rocks. Great facilities and beautiful garden, loved bbqs on the deck with outdoor heater. Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and beautifully presented. Booking process and stay was seemless, thank you.
