「My wife and I enjoyed the time we spent at this cabin. Spent most of our time in Volcano hiking in the national park, and it was located ideally for that plan. Even though it is not completely isolated, it feel as though it is, and has is peacefully quiet, which is something we missed when later visiting other parts of the state. As other reviews mentioned, the only thing to be aware of is the very last few parts of the road right near the site are in pretty bad shape. Was very concerned...

「Beautiful setting, very clean, a few uninvited guests but no worries, all good. Small refrigerator holds a few days worth of poke, side dishes and drinks. Late last night, wild pigs were at the front doorway and got into the trashcan. Nothing to be alarmed about as long as your mindful of their damagous behavior. Mahalo Jessica!」

「After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area.」

「The house, which my children called the Treehouse, was absolutely beautiful. We loved listening to all the birds and frogs in the jungle surrounding. The house was exquisitely decorated inside and out. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was immaculately clean. Host was great to work with and very responsive. 「The bungalow was quaint and lovely. Loved hearing the doves, frogs, roosters. There were bugs but that’s expected in this area. No A/C but with the fans and closing the curtains while we were gone during the day it kept the place cooler. They also provide extra fans if needed. The tap water tastes good. The lanai is very nice, the table inside is great too. For a couple or small family who intends to explore…this is a great place.」
