The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. "It was a great hotel for the price, it was a bit far from the station and not many things to do around the area. If you want a cheap and good enough place to stay at for your trip to Nagoya I recommend it!"

The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions.
