Chris & his very silly jokes made us giggle and we actually went back for another joke upon checking out. And I even got a beautiful bottle of wine when we arrived! Thank you Philip. Superb BTW! This property is older & historic. John Wayne shot a movie & stayed there. Who knew!!!! Rooms were small charming & quaint. Bed very comfortable! Great shower pressure too! Lovely Hawaiian music playing in the courtyard and bummed we had no time for the pool. And there were a few adorable cats, the roosters of course and a beautiful peacock greeted us am. "The hotel is newly renovated. Foods and cocktails at the bar are good. Our room is very clean. The staff at the check out was not so nice. And no receipt was provided after couple months of check out."
