"We stayed one night after visiting the Grand Canyon and I have ZERO complaints. Beds and pillows were super comfy, room was clean and there were good food options in the area. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely stay here. Safe travels everyone!"

"First the good part. Location inside the park was great. Shuttle stop was close. The king bed was very comfortable. Now the bad part. The motel was old, built in 1956. Has not been updated much, if at all. The bathtub base was broken, you could feel the cracks and it was soft when you stepped on it. They glued a mat over the broken tub. It was stained, too. I first thought it was a non skid mat but it was glued down. The sink was also in bad shape. The faucet was stuck on off and you had to forcibly pull very hard to get a trickle of water. The sink was discolored and the wall mounted soap dispenser was crooked. On top of all that, when I tried to check in at 4:00, they said there was no reservation in my name, despite the confirmation on my phone. That could have been hotels.com’s fault. They instructed me to call hotels.com and I texted with AI. Later they transferred me to a real person but still by text. Turns out someone put the wrong name on the reservation. Back at the front desk, the man next to me had the same thing happen to him! His reservation was done under Expedia, which is the same company. Seems like someone is messing with the reservations, maybe a disgruntled employee?"

"We had a fine stay but the price was extremely high for a property that is stuck in the 1970s. That said, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong."

"I really loved this room, nice resort style rooms. My only complaint is I didn’t have an elevator and had to lug my bags up stairs. This is not something that was mentioned by staff or on the site."

"I kept after myself mostly, as I knew the cleaning service is weekly, but it was effective on the day noted. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If anyone is used to having even a single dining venue on-site, this will be a departure from that. The staff mentioned that Hilton will be working on expansions to allow for it, but probably, don't expect one anytime in the immediate future. Still, that means you buy and prepare your own food for at least some of the time, and that equates to savings. This is one motivation for booking an efficiency. But overall, it's a beautiful property in a beautiful area. Sadly, I never got to spend time in the hammocks, which I had really wanted to, but that was on account of my own activity schedules. If you don't mind doing the efficiency thing and making your own meals, it's a good call. I would have liked at least one dining venue just in case I needed to eat somewhere convenient in terms of timing."

"This hotel is an absolute treasure in time. We wanted something unique and this was certainly it, situated right on Historic Route 66. Very clean and well maintained. Deborah, the hostess welcoming and informative. We truly enjoyed our stay! "
