「Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and good variety. Had a major issue when we were told to evacuate in the middle of the night for 4 hours. Poor communication from the hotel staff. We were left sleeping in our car. The rest of our two days were without hot water, cold showers. Did not feel hotel management cared about us as guests. No follow-up after the incident. Would not recommend if you want a hotel with good communication and customer service.」

「We have stayed at the Cook for camp five summers now. This is the first time I saw service levels lowered. The staff are great but this year we didn’t have room cleaning, towel service or trash removed for the four nights we stayed. Also, I have noticed the breakfast menu hasn’t changed in five years and can get a little boring. I understand this is the only hotel in Baton Rouge that is run by the alumni so I hope they receive this feedback that their hotel is no longer price competitive for the...

「Let’s start with the shower. The very first night we had to shower at my mom’s house because the shower basically flooded the bathroom. Next, I’m assuming that I should have brought my own towels given the fact that they only provided a total of 6 (2 wash cloths, 2 hand towels and 2 big towels) for 4 people staying for 4 nights. Also, the room did not have a microwave, no table and chairs (I’m assuming we were supposed to sit in the floor to eat), and the beds were very small and uncomfortable....
