「Had a very peaceful vacation, the lake was nice. Cottage was clean and had everything you could need. Only issue was whoever stayed before us did not clean up after their dog so I had my kids pick it up. Lol overall a great family vacation 」

「Absolutely wonderful property! My kids 5 & 3 loved the house, the river and surrounding area. It was so quiet and peaceful here and this home had everything! So much charm! We recommend the otsego lake for more swimming. 11 for a daily pass and 15 minutes up the road. This house was close enough to everything we needed, but also far enough away for serenity. Wonderful vacation!」

「The Mint was very clean. The queen bed upstairs was very hard as others stated. Maybe a mattress topper needed. Sheets and towels need replacing. 」

We really loved the added bonus of the little boat and trolling motor. We were able to get around the entire lake on a single battery charge. We made sure to bring a paddle just in case. Home had pretty decent beds and all the kitchen supplies we needed. Once we had groceries from down the street we enjoyed a relaxing riverfront vacation without a need to leave. 10/10 and will recommend this place to family and friends!」

The host was very good at responding to our questions, and the cabin was just right for us (two golfing guys) to be comfortable. Paul's Pub - about 1.5 miles down the road - was wonderful as well. 」

「Marilyn and Jim couldn’t have been better. Communication was great, check-in couldn’t have been easier. The cottage was spotless. The beach area was a big hit. This is a sandy bottom lake which is great for water clarity and if you don’t like squishy/muddy lake bottoms. Sunsets right over the lake were amazing. Could’t recommend it more, enjoy!」

Provided a relaxing weekend with lots of things to do at the house: kayaking, bonfires, games, cornhole, etc. Short drive to downtown Gaylord for restaurants/breweries. Set-up of the house was perfect for us. Adults slept upstairs, kids downstairs. Morning coffee on the balcony was so peaceful! Would highly recommend!」
