Hotel Marina Riviera

"Couldn’t beat the location and the views. Staff was really friendly and the room was nice. It was a very small room, which is ok if you’re not planning to spend much time there. Our bathroom sliding door wouldn’t quite stay all the way closed, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. Our kids loved the pool and beach area, and we appreciated the close proximity to the village. Overall, we will definitely stay again if we decide to stay in a hotel on our next visit."

"Loved the view, very beautiful. No hot water in bathroom sink. Only one towel for two people. Balcony had tons of cobwebs that could be easily swept away by housekeepers. A little cramped, but still enjoyed the stay."

"The room was great! The place was very homey and clean. Angela was also amazing, however the tv wasn’t working, We were not told we needed to ask for hot water so we endured a cold shower at night but then asked Angela the next day and it was heated but only slightly warm. The highlight was the private jacuzzi! In spite of the two not so great things this was a very memorable stay and kind of perfect."

"Request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs. Despite an amazing location, remodeled rooms and amazing stay, my only complaint is how thin the walls are. We go to bed fairly early but people upstairs stayed up and walked around and played music until 2am. It’s not their fault but I would request the room upstairs if I planned to stay again “also request a fan because it’s wayyyy too quiet and you hear everything!!!! But again, it’s a beautiful location, beautiful rooms and for the price, I’d book again"

"We always stay at the Lagonita, its right on the lake, which is great. The full kitchens are very convenient. Fireplace in each unit. Not far from the village. Very quiet and peaceful. They have activities, you can rent boats and they have a boat tour of the lake you can take. The parking situation is good. The staff are always helpful. Only drawback is no air conditioning, but they give you a fan lol. Its never bothered us, better to breath in the fresh mountain air."

"Positives: Newly refurbished. Clean room. Location easy walk to village center. Staff (specifically, Evan) was very responsive and helpful. Reasonably priced. Negatives: Some basic /common features were missing. Eg, no power outlet next to the bed so use of a CPAP wouldn't be possible. (When I contacted Evan, he promptly went out and bought an extension cord for my use.) To turn on/off the lamps attached to the wall next to the bed, one has to get out of bed to the opposite side of the room where the switch is. No USB charging outlets. We had a room with the bed in a loft a full floor above the main room. It's a lot of stairs to walk down and up to go to the bathroom, get something to drink, or move a suitcase if you wanted next to the bed. There was a French press coffee maker in the room (a nice feature), but no coffee or creamer. Note that these comments are specific to the room we stayed in. Even though there are a number of "negatives" in my comments, it is on the whole a nice place to stay. Older people and/or those with back issues or any mobility issues should avoid the rooms with a loft."
