"Getting to this place can be a bit of an ordeal to be honest. We found that Apple Maps was the most accurate. The house itself was great—three teenagers and three adults were happy the entire time. The games, puzzles, and table games were a hit. Jefferson and West Jefferson were an easy drive.We had a blast during our stay. "

"Looking for a vacation spot with views, luxury amenities, feels remote but is close to town, then look no longer! This place is worth booking! Definitely bring your 4 wheel drive if going in the winter months. The fire pit and property is beautiful. Hot tub is a nice added touch. "We were iffy about booking related to mixed reviews but we found our room quite clean and comfortable. I spray everything in our motel rooms down with Lysol anyway , just a habit developed during Covid and do it even when we stay at the Hampton. Spent one night for my birthday, then drove 30 minutes to eat breakfast at Daniel Boone Inn . Location was great with several fast food restaurants, Ingles and a Dollar General walkable if forget any essentials. Will stay again. "

"Our group had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. We came to Ashe for a hiking getaway and this home was a restful home base between hikes and when the storms came through. We loved the porches and hot tub, sitting and visiting in the living room and meals around the large dining table. We all slept comfortably and we’re already planning a trip back for next fall!"
