"Wonderful lodge! Liked it so much we rearranged our itinerary to come back for another night. Super quiet & scenic. Really enjoyed the pool, deck, restaurant, and seeing birds, monkeys and iguanas. Arrived too late for pizza the first night, but stayed to have it for lunch and it truly was delicious. However, learned later that Costa Rica’s ban on feeding wildlife extends to private property and bird feeders, so it would better not to feed the birds at all, or at least farther from the deck so macaws don’t swoop in for human breakfast food. "

"House was great. More than we needed but it's was great haveming the extra space. The views were amazing. Concierge was helpful. Was just disappointed that the pictures didn't match the landscaping. The landscaping was not managed and everything was dead. They back yard also had empty beer cans, pool equipment and full trash bags from pervious renters that were never cleaned up. The plastic pool cups were all full of mold and water. Besides that the house was clean and tidy"

"Thomas was a great host. The unit is in a nice gated community. We were only using it on this trip as a stop to get us closer to the airport. We may use this unit for a longer stop on another trip."

"We had an amazing stay at Akua Ocean View Suites. The location with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean is absolutely breathtaking. The scenery from the terrace is simply stunning. The suite itself is cozy, modern, very clean, and surprisingly spacious. Everything felt comfortable and thoughtfully designed. One of my favorite moments was in the morning — I watched beautiful birds from the terrace, including toucans! It made the experience feel truly special and unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible ocean views."

"Frank and Samay opened their beautiful home to us, and it truly felt like the ultimate therapy after a challenging year. The breathtaking views set the tone the moment we arrived, and every detail of the home was designed for relaxation and connection. The pool and hot tub were incredible, the game room kept everyone entertained, and having Chef Jose prepare meals for us in the home was such a special touch. The in-house massages made it feel like a private retreat. Most importantly, it was a place where my family was able to slow down, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories. We are deeply grateful for the experience and would return in a heartbeat."

"Have stayed here before several times and they have done and are continuing to do a lot of improvements. The entire staff from checking in , kitchen and wsit staff, grounds crew have all been very friendly and efficient. The grounds crew does a fantastic job of keeping the jungle and it's critters from literally taking over. There is a lot of wildlife to be seen just walking around and exploring the grounds. The food and beverages have all been very good. I'm staying in 1 of the 2 Tree House rooms and would higjly recommend choosing these rooms. Their balcony"s literally look over the Tarcolito stream and the jungle across the stream is alive with squaking Parrots and Macaws. Truly one of my favorite spots in Costa Rica."
