The house itself is beautifully set in a peaceful and scenic location, and it was well-equipped for a comfortable stay. It’s also conveniently located near Kiama and Gerringong, which made for some great day trips.That said, there were some issues that affected our experience. "We had a lovely relaxing stay at Culburra. We were in the area to celebrate our son's graduation and it ticked all the boxes.Our adult kids joined us for some of the nights. It was very well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We loved lazy afternoons in the spa."

"Just a 1 night stay. The room was very clean. Some reviews complained about the noise from the highway but I was in a room on the opposite end so that didn't apply to me but I could hear when other guests walk or drove past so sound insulation isn't great. For dinner, motel guests got a 10% discount at the pub (same management/staff) which was great but the food took a long time (over an hour) to come. Breakfast was provided which was nice and the variety was good - both hot and cold food. There was also a tennis court and pool available but being winter, we did not make use of these. Overall, happy to come back but would skip the pub dinner and go look elsewhere otherwise everything was good"
