"I have to start by saying the food is terrible.Front desk staff isn’t very welcoming or as helpful. The day we arrived we weren’t welcomed. Nobody helped ous with our bags no welcome drinks. We had to drag everything over to the counter. Entertainment wise not a whole lot. But they did keep at it with the pool entertainment. Had problems with walls plugs TV never worked the whole stay. The people serving drinks behind the bars were amazing though! This was our first time trying RIU Resort’s aside from our normal resort brand we use. I have to say I’m disappointed."

"The Coco La Palm is a wonderful boutique resort. The staff and grounds are wonderful. It’s close to the main town and great local restaurants. However if you want to stay on the resort, the breakfast (continental and breakfast sandwiches) are good. I also had a good burger at the lunch spot. There’s a great mix of locals and visitors to kept things interesting. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back again if I’m ever in Jamaica! J Flowers Columbus Ohio"

"Very relaxing and well maintained resort. Most staff were extremely helpful but there were a few who clearly did not want to be there… we tipped appropriately. Only complaint was not to do with the hotel itself but the guests. Our room was on the ground floor and we were woken up every night from 2am till 4am by guests going back to their rooms. The lifeguards did a nice job during the day keeping an eye on guests who had indulged too much but not at night."

"Amazing stay! We had a wonderful experience at Riu Palace Tropical Bay. The buffet staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel like part of the family throughout our stay. The team responsible for the non-motorized water sports and tubing activities were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The entertainment group was also amazing, especially the Colombian guy. However, besides that, true highlight of our vacation was the beach, warm, crystal-clear, calm, and impeccably clean. It was absolutely breathtaking. The spectacular sunsets each evening made the experience even more memorable.m! We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and would not hesitate to return. We highly recommend this resort and look forward to visiting again in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
