「I absolutely loved my stay here, the room was basic but very clean and updated and the view was breathtaking. The breakfast is delicious and the restaurant was also excellent. What really made this place incredible though is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and really seemed to take pride in their work and in the property. They made the stay phenomenal and memorable. 100% will be back.」

「5 mins away from Acadia National Park - spacious rooms, lovely staff, and the breakfast is definitely a plus!! Coming back here in the summer!」

「Beautiful place to say quiet location downtown Bar Harbor, easy to walk and get to anything. The staff was super friendly. Will be staying there again」

「this place was the perfect spot to take in the shops, restaurants, bars, and beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was well appoinmted with a cute reading nook, clean sheets, and even a split AC unit should we have needed it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming.....not to mention great bakers! Breakfast was wonderful every day, with a baked muffin, and a choice of a sweet or savory meal. Coffee and tea were available all day. We would not hesitate to stay here again.」

「We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. 「Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.」

「It was a beautiful, well kept up home run by a wonderful family! So fun to visit with other people staying there! And the breakfast was excellent!」
