This is a classic mid century motel. Decent mattress, great classic tub, clean and bug free. So it served the purpose of a place to stay the night before the MDI marathon. Would recommend.

Comfortable, budget friendly motel close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Room could use some updating but it works. Would stay here again.

This place was the most horrible place we have ever encountered. The room had not been updated since 1960. I am not kidding and I am not exaggerating when you walked into the room. It smelled like mold. We went to the desk to cancel the reservation and they offered us an updated room, but it would cost us more money. I think that is called bait and switch, which is illegal the pictures of the room on Expedia do not match the actual picture of the room I think Expedia should reconsider offering this site for their customers

The hotel was a dump, under construction, dirty, just a terrible selection. I would never ever stay there.Wanted my money back but there was nobody in the lobby. Crappy toilet, even worse shower,could be consider very unsafe, dirty garbage not taken out just terrible. I cant believe Expedia allow this as a choice. Would love to talk to someone about getting my money back. Terrible esperance.

This place is, without question, a total dump hole! Room was 100sqft. Smelled like body odor and piss. No shower head, no closet, no drawers, and nothing resemble the pictures on your sight. I am requesting a full refund for we checked out immediately and did not spend zero nights. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BAIT AND SWITCH.

Pictures on site is NOT the rooms you get. Panels are split, carpet is old and worn. Room door is split in places and can see light coming in frame. Smells of mold, a lot of it. No water pressure in shower. Bates Motel would be ashamed. Front staff were very nice.

Property in need of major upgrades.. no hot water. If you let hot water run, it eventually got luke warm for a couple minutes then turned cold again. Limited electrical outlets. Sliding door to bathroom that wouldn't slide. Can't believe Expedia listed it!!!

Could hear through the walls to other people's conversations. Bathroom was very tiny. No telephone to contact the office. The rooms need a total makeover. No hair dryers in room

You get what you pay for! Didn't mind it being old but - outside door had up to a 3/4" gap letting in cold air, no extra blankets or pillows, bathroom floor had a big hole by the toilet, sliding door to bathroom didn't work. Hot & cold water were backwards, no coffee in lobby as promised, poor lighting. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Convenient located. Property is in poor repair, entrance door & lock are a cheap interior door and handle lacking any safety measures. Lighting is almost none existent, 2 small 25 watt wall lamps that you could not read by. AC unit does not work, filter was clogged and smelled. Bathroom was clean but dangerous - sink is loose and tub is raised 9-10 inch off floor you need to step up to get in and getting out is very dangerous if you do not hold on to the grab bar and sink/wall tub floor is very slippery. Sheets were clean, towels are clean but very worn.

The pictures about this motel is mostly inaccurate. It shows a living room, a kitchen… but it is not true. Nothing but a queen bed and a tiny bathroom.

Heater didn't work, uneven floor, rotted door, slider door to bathroom didn't shut, shoebox size room and bathroom. Plugged bathroom sink. Location was good and affordable.
