「Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening. Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon). Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.」

「客室:清潔で設備も新しめで良かったが、ちょっと狭い。日本のビジネスホテルより狭い。基本寝るだけなのでいいけれど、衣類掛けがカーテンの外だったり、荷物の整理をするのに少し不便に感じた。 スタッフ:会わなかった。 ロケーション:大型の駐車場が目の前で便利。地図上はフェリーターミナルの目の前だが線路があり回り込まないといけないので、期待したより時間がかかる。街自体がこぢんまりしているのもあるが、観光スポット、レストラン、カフェ、スーパーなど徒歩圏内にあるので便利。 その他:2泊したが、2日目観光して部屋に戻ってきたら掃除してくれていたようで、机の上に置いておいた水筒代わりのペットボトルが捨てられていた。掃除してくれたことには感謝しているが、Do not disturb の札がほしい。」

「We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour. They encouraged us to explore the area right around the house. We even made friends with the cats and the cows. And their breakfast service was so very elegant and tasty.」

「シングルで予約してましたが、当日アップグレードして下さりめちゃくちゃ広いお部屋に。 浴槽もあって、シャワーで充分と思ってましたがせっかくなのでとお湯に浸かり、旅の疲れを癒しました。 朝食会場も広く、朝食も美味しい。 チェックアウト時、火災報知器の誤作動？がありましたが、スタッフさんが宿泊客への周知、誘導をしっかりされてて、安心して泊まれるなぁという印象でした。 総じて素晴らしい滞在でした。ありがとうございました。」

「Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again」
