"We couldn't have been happier with our week long stay! Well, maybe a master bedroom door upstairs. The views are spectacular, the beds and pillows were comfortable, plenty of towels and extra bedding is available and the kitchen is well stocked. The tradewinds that blew through the house were amazing! Our only complaint is the water was a little hotter than what we would consider warm, but not hot. My husband was okay with it. FYI: There is a trick to the master bathroom shower, it's a little difficult to get to turn hot on occasion. It will stay cold when it's turned to hot, other times it's just fine. It took me about 10 min. to figure it out the first day, but I just kept waiting and waiting. There was hot water downstairs, so I knew it had to be something. Finally, after turning it down and back up a couple times, it worked no problem. Knowledge is power. It was simple. We flew in to share in our 1st granddaughters 1st Birthday and had a little celebration dinner for her and lets just say she had a great time be-bopping around the space, we blocked the stairs with the ottoman, worked like a charm. They even had a highchair!It was close enough to everything, that we didn't feel like we were missing any action and could experience Kona, Honokaa, and Hilo without driving forever. The Views!!! Our daughter lives in Honokaa and we alternate yearly visits. We will be renting it again, if available, on our next trip.Thank you for such a wonderful home away from home."

"This is a very nice place to stay. Close to shopping, Starbucks, Foodliner and restaurants. Tucked just off the main road into Waimea. Very friendly staff. Clean, airy room. All recently remodeled."

"Super easy check in/ check out process with clear instructions provided by the host. Awesome place to stay at and very comfortable with AC and large fans. Very clean and kids loved upstairs! Definitely will be booking again next time I need to stay in waimea"

"This is a beautiful property, the landscaping is gorgeous and the view is spectacular. We’ve stayed here several times but this time sadly, the conditions of the main house and the ohana suite were disappointing. Both buildings need maintenance which although the host responded immediately to, none of it was taken care of during our 14 day stay. I truly hope this changes for future guests but am not sure we will choose to stay here again even though it’s so beautiful and close to our local family. "

"I believe this is a brand new listing, but could be wrong. There was no real place to put garbage and I had to contact the host to get it collected. Had to purchase a remote control for the TV in the master bed, and a can opener. Those should be standard items."

"This property is really all about its spectacular view and stunning sunsets over the Kohala Coast. Can’t beat that. The property is nice and private. Communication with the owner was perfect and so was check-in and check-out. We hope to come back soon. "

We loved waking up to the sound of birds every morning. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We would definitely stay again! "
