"Easy check-in. Room was clean, comfortable and beds comfortable. It was so quiet— we slept through breakfast!! Older hotel— but well maintained. We have been on the road for 10 days— all at name brand hotels— this hotel doesn’t offer warm cookies and a fireplace in the lobby— but also it is only half the price!! Nothing fancy— but clean with nice staff! "

"I had to plunge my own toilet when I first checked in, The TV would come on by itself in the middle of the night, noticed when I checked in there was a dirty sock on the floor beside the nightstand. It was still there when I left two days later and housekeeping had been there."

"We were in DeSmet for my grandmothers funeral. This space made us feel like we were at home. It was nice and quiet. Had everything we needed. We have been staying in Brookings the past few times we’ve visited family because we don’t care for the hotel in town. But this is a game changer for us and we will definitely be booking again!! "
