「Elegant small hotel set in a beautiful castle setting with two 5 star restaurants on-site surrounded by beautiful gardens for strolling.」

「The room was a good size and we were lucky to be facing the loch. Looked to be have been updated recently. All the staff were excellent, especially in the restaurant. I would suggest you have a look at the water pressure for the showers though. I'd look to stay again if I was heading to Stranraer 」

TV, small ensuite and very warm and cosy. The bed was very comfy. Room was very clean with toiletries provided and everything we needed for our overnight stay on the way to ferry at Cairnryan. In fact we highly recommend this hotel for its convenience to the ferry port and value for money, you won't beat it on price. The food was...

「This was the best accommodation that we had in our whole two weeks in the UK. The owners are absolutely lovely and amazing, the dinner was divine, the breakfast was very tasty and the setting of the lighthouse right at the coast is absolutely stunning. Also, our dog was very welcome and loved it. I definitely recommend this to everyone - even if just for a dinner or lunch.」

「We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return! 」
