10/10 Excellent

"Easy check in process. Helpful owner. Lovely, warm and safe room. Good size. Im not usually one for B&Bs. They always feel like you are staying in someone's house (bur like not in a good way). This felt very welcoming snd secure. Proper lock on each bedroom door and a second at the front. Free parking on street outside. Lovely view from windows. Park right across the road for kids. I was surprised how much bathroom they were able to squeeze into bedroom, and it didnt take away from decor. The shower was lovely. Breakfast as excellent. Kitchen Coos and Ewes is 15 mins drive away, worth the trip."

"Food was fabulous. Recommend the full Scottish breakfast. The crispy brie was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Staff are so friendly. The hotel rooms were clean but dated. The bed is uncomfortable as mattress needs replacing, you can feel the springs. The sink in the shower room is so dinky it is almost impossible to use. Water goes everywhere. Glad we only stayed 1 night. General maintenance in rooms and corridors needed. Dirt and paint stains evident in communal areas of hotel. Bedroom windows rotting so don't recommend staying. Do recommend bar , food and staff. Fantastic views over harbour from room."

"Glenapp was the last stop before home, on our NC500 honeymoon. The staff as always were delightful & very helpful. The welcome is always special here & there were plenty of help to carry all our unorganised belongings to accomodate us all. This time we had our dog with us & Glenapp's policy suited us well, he had a welcom pack & was made extremely comfortable. Our room was spacious & well maintained. We dont expect dogs to be allowed in the restaurant area & the policy was that Ozzy was aloud to stay behind in the room. We ate in the potting shed of the Azalea, We were greeted by Jen, a lovely chatty, bubbly & profesional resturant manager. As we ate early & the other couples didn't have an issue, she very kindly allowed us to have ozzy sitting quietly at our table. It shouldn't be expected but honestly just the small personal touches & personalities is what make your stay special. We will be back to try our the new "Nest" Many Thanks"

"It’s an old property- if you love quirky you’ll love it. If you want pristine, you won’t. Food was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. Spent time talking to the owners who are fantastic people- including the son as chef. If character and informal brilliance are your thing go. If not don’t. And the views….."
