The front desk team is super helpful and friendly, and they speak great English. The rooms are very clean and a bit more spacious than what you’d expect in a typical Japanese hotel—they even have a microwave, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. You’re close to lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores, and Okubo Station is just a few minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again!

I stayed 6 nights as a SOLO female traveler and wondered if this was the right hotel for me. For one thing, the "Adults only" confused me. So I researched the concept "Love Hotels" in Japan I wondered if a solo traveler would feel comfortable. The room felt safe and secure, bed was comfortable. The AC unit worked throughout the night, I like to sleep on the cool side. I had enough room to open my luggage. They rent their rooms out for just day use also. I did pay much more through...

I genuinely enjoyed my stay. It was very clean and quiet. It has a great location since it's very close to the train stations. The communication is very good i had no troubles at all. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back soon.

I spent a week and a half at this fine little hotel. Little enough that It was actually a bit hard to find. No matter which airport you come from, you want to take a connecting line (it's a monrail from Haneda) to the JR Yamanote line. Take that to Shin-okubo station, where there's only one exit. It lets you out onto Okubo-dori St. Turning right down this street you will immediately pass under the elevated railroad tracks (nice murals!) and find yourself at an intersection. Cross the...

Staff were kind and professional. The building is brand new, having opened just last month. Stayed for four nights and had no issues.
The attached cafe was fine, but nothing special. Good for a convenient meal if you’re starving, but it’s in one of the most diverse neighborhoods of Shinjuku, so live a little.
Check out the balcony, accessible by the staircase outside the front entrance. Good view of the street below and a great place to unwind. The laundry room is right next to it. One of the...

I had a great stay at this property! While the room itself had more of a dorm-style setup—compact and simple—it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short or extended stay. The space was well-kept and thoughtfully arranged to make the most out of the smaller layout.
The property overall was quiet, well-maintained, and in a convenient location. Common areas were neat and easily accessible, and it felt like a safe and welcoming environment. The management was responsive and...

It is intimidating at first, but the system there is impeccable. Such an awesome area right on the Yamonote line. I opted for the breakfast & that was the only part that tripped me up because GoogleMaps was no help. The restaurant is a few blocks west & is well worth the money.

I enjoyed my stay at Hanabi, the staff was kind and answered to every request made such as an extra futon or some extra pillows. This hotel is conveniently close to the Shin-Okubo train station (3 minutes walking) and about 15 minutes walking to Shinjuku station, so it's pretty convenient to go explore Tokyo and return to your hotel all tired since it's so close to the station.

I had a great time staying at the Tokyo Plaza Hotel during my 13 days in Japan. I location was great a block away from both the sinokubo (yamanote line) and okubo stations (chou line) so traveling around Tokyo was super convenient. The rooms were nice and clean and the hotel staff was always very polite and helpful. There is one set of stairs you have to climb to get to the hotel, which was like the final torture after a long day of shopping which was probably the only downside. I'm also a kpop...
