"Everything about the stay was wonderful. It is an incredibly thoughtful and intentional design that has delivered an elevated experience for us. Having brought the extended family and our pet dog, overall site location and accommodations was very relaxing for all and everyone had a great time. The views on the resort added to overall positive vibes. One unique feature is the basement… almost a mini apartment for which our adult children were able to enjoy their stay. It’s worth noting that the entire accommodation is clean and well-maintained. Cannot recommend this place enough. "

"We were staying for a long 4th of July weekend. The house was just as advertised. We found it very comfortable and our host had air conditioners in the 2 main bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. Most of our awake time was with family in another house, but we welcomed returning to the quiet cabin. I'd like to return sometime when we have more time to explore the trail."

"We are six women in our 40s who do an annual weekend away and this house was perfect for us. Its a beautiful home with expansive windows that let in lots of light and surrounded by trees on all sides. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, included a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and pots and pans. The owners were very responsive and communicative. Inside wintergreen resort and very convenient to hikes and overlooks. Recommend. "
"The Shamokin Chalet (Grand Chalet) was a gorgeous home with amazing mountain views! It was one of the most well appointed homes I’ve stayed in - well stocked kitchen (paper products, spices, dishes, cooking supplies, coffees), shampoos, conditioners, body wash, toilet paper and plenty of towels in all bathrooms, even beach towels for the hot tub. The home was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The landscaping was gorgeous. It had the most massive TV I’ve ever seen. The owner was a great communicator, texts were timely and he was quick to respond. My family would definitely come back to this lovely home! "
