「Hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was super yummy but not very versatile as they served the same options every day. The area also felt very safe and secure and was within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. I’d definitely stay here again. One tip is that when inputting the hotel to Google Maps or Uber, you need to specify that you’re going to Kimpton Las Mercedes and not Las Mercedes, which is 20 minutes away in a different side of town.」

「Really lovely staff, very tranquil and beautiful gardens out back with plenty of area to sit and enjoy a drink or read a book. Very clean room, nice towels, well functioning air conditioning, nice hot water in the shower and great water pressure. Definitely not really quiet on the street outside though, in the very early morning.... so not great if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in.
Inside the hotel itself is quiet and tranquil, but you can hear noise from the street outside the room,...

「So to be fair your staying in a 500 year old building, the room is small but very cool. The property is beautiful, the history is wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The only improvements I think could be made is a refrigerator in the room and more than a commercial hand soap dispenser in the bathroom, provide at least some basic soap and shampoo. Overall we had a great time here and will most likely come back.」
