Amazing stay-gorgeous views

The property lived up to the incredible pictures, the location was almost unbeatable (so close to lots of good restaurants and the beach), the parking for the unit was very useful, and the check in/out process was painless. This was a great stay and we would recommend it for sure!

Great location

This property was perfect for the family. Not small like a hotel room and has a kitchen with what we needed. Comfortable when we were relaxing. The location was perfect, walking distance within everything we needed. Parking was immensely useful! That was one of the selling points of this property. Everyone was so helpful and nice here. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

8 days in Waikiki

When we left the elevator, hallway carpeting was kinda shabby, but we opened the door to our unit and were very pleased with the updated furnishings and decor. Good view of the park and the ocean. Very comfortable having a kitchen and full size refrigerator so we could eat in whenever we wanted (Weber BBQs available on pool level) and a comfortable living room to relax in (would have liked another chair besides the sofa). Lots of beach supplies provided (only 2 blocks to the beach). Free in/out parking was GREAT, access to major thoroughfares was easy when we drove to other parts of the island. The hotel mini Mart was reasonable priced with friendly staff. The many elevators are fast, a plus when your goal is the 23rd floor.Ice, washer/dryer (must bring detergent with you) and garbage chutes are at the end of each floor. We would enjoy booking this unit again in the future.

Waikiki Sunset

Great property located blocks from Waikiki Beach. Parking included was huge bonus. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler included. Owners had no issue with late checkout for overnight flight. Fully recommend.

Wonderful!

Perfect size for my husband and my self! Great location.. so close to the beach and the views of diamondhead each morning and evening were incredible! Had all the beach stuff we would need, although we didn’t have time to use it. Bed was really comfortable for me!! Great linens. Thank you so much!

Convenient Location

The condo was very conveniently located. Plenty of shopping and restaurants and of course the beach all in walking distance. The fact that the unit included parking was a huge plus. Although we had a few snags in our stay it had nothing to do with the condo or owner/manager. On the contrary he was very helpful and responsive to our needs. I would recommend.

Wonderful place!

Updated condo, great Diamond Head views with some ocean views to the side, clean, spacious, good value. Loved having the beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach umbrella and beach towels--so helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with five chairs. It's nice to have the deck, coin op laundry down the hall and parking. The building has a decent small gym and convenience store. We like being at this end of Waikiki because we like to walk each morning in Kapiolani Park and it's 1.5 blocks to the beach. Sometimes we can even hear the howler monkeys at the zoo. Food trucks are a block away on the other side of Hyatt Place. Good wifi. Highly recommended!

Just Perfect!

This unit was just perfect for our family of four! Clean, everything was provided, comfy beds in both master room and sofa bed. The owner had beach equipment ready for our kids to use. A huge plus was the free parking! We loved everything about it. We had a day of water being turned off due to another unit doing plumbing repair, but it didn’t affect us too much as we were out an about doing our excursions. We were notified in writing by building management. Owner was also very responsive when the AC unit was sending out humid air into the unit, perhaps that was due to the plumbing repair that another unit needed to get done. AC was nice and cool when we returned from the day’s activities. We really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and Clean Apartment/Building Safety Concerns

Our stay at the Waikiki Sunset was mostly pleasant . The apartment was clean and had all the necessities and then some. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, dishing, and appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. There were also beach chairs, a beach bug, and an umbrella, which meant we didn't have to rent or purchse those items. The apartment is a couple blocks from the beach and plenty of restaurants. Also, we had a car so the parking garage was a big plus. The one negative was our experience with the buildings fire alarm on the first night. It went off at 11:30 pm on the first night of our arrival. We jumped up and started making our way toward the stairs. We are in good shape so we can easily do 23 flights fairly quickly. The alarm stopped after a couple of minutes, but we did not get any communication that everything was okay. Since this is an apartment and not one of the hotel suites, we did not have a hotel phone to call the front desk. When my husband got downstairs, the staff was very nonchalant and said everything was okay and someone had just burned something in a kitchen and opened the door to the hallway. They said that if the alarm is turned off in less than 4 minutes, the fire deparmtnet doesn't come. I understand that, but there still should have been some communication to ensure that everyone knew the building was safe. So, the apartment was lovely, but because of the fire alarm experience, I would not stay here again.

I normally stay on the north shore when I visit. But this was a last minute trip. It was a little further away from family but it was perfect for goung to the beach and zoo when we stayed near our room. The room was accommodating and clean. I would stay here again. Mahalo

I loved the location, easy walk to lots of things. Easy access to the beach. Loved having gear included for the beach and having a bedroom with a door made for more privacy! The bed was super firm but we didnt mind it.

Spacious apartment located in the Waikiki sunset building (23rd floor) that had everything we needed for our vacation. 5 minutes walk to the beach, lots of shops and food trucks close-by and free parking included. Laundry rooms on every floor. Richard and Monica always helped with swift replies whenever we had a question. Thank you!

Excellence All Around

If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, in the heart of the action of Waikīkī, this place is for you. I stayed for 5 nights with my two young sons. The unit itself was very nice and clean. The living room has a let out sofa bed, which my boys enjoyed very much. I didn’t do any cooking but, the unit had pots and pans should I have chosen to do so. Refrigerator was regular size which was great for storing leftover food, milk, water, and fruit for the week. Bowls, plates, silverware were available for our use as well, which we did use. The bedroom was later with a nice view of Diamond Head, and the ocean. I would have liked a television in the bedroom just so I didn’t have to watch what the kids were watching BUT, it wasn’t so much of a bother that it took away from the awesomeness of this place. The location was AWESOME! Just two blocks to the beach, a five (5) minute walk to the zoo, a ten (10) minute walk to the aquarium, and about a 15 minute walk to International Market (the mall). Dominos is right across the street, Denny’s is about a three (3) minute walk, and the ABC store (convenience store) is about a two (2) minute walk. There is a convenience store in the building as well. Also, there’s a laundry room on the floor at the end of the hall which I did take advantage of during my stay. The host, Richard and Monica were EXCELLENT with communication. Speedy responses with all questions/concerns I had. You can’t go wrong booking this unit! Easily 5 s. 10/10!

Walking distance to Waikiki Beach

Close to the shopping center and beach . Also the free parking is a plus especially that close to the beach. The place was spacious enough for a family of 4 . It has a great view of the ocean and I think it's was a crater.

Grand daughters first trip to Hawaii

Such a wonderful experience for all of us. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The toilet has a problem because it gets stuck and runs, but other than that it was perfect.
