Wonderful Waikiki

Very comfortable and well equipped, plenty of bath towels and beach towels. The location was great. Parking is definitely a plus and very convenient. Loved having a small store in the building plus several more nearby. Two blocks to the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay in Waikiki!

Great place

Nice one bedroom unit in building with free parking, two blocks from beach, quiet and clean! Only wish the pool were heated. It was so nice to have parking. Had one issue with the sink in bathroom, host came right away and fixed it, no problems! Would recommend for two people or a single!

This little one bedroom condo was perfect for our needs. We never had a problem finding parking after a day out exploring the island. Good location that is walking distance to everything that Waikiki has to offer. You will be disappointed if you are expecting a resort with a grand lobby and fancy amenities. This condo was clean and comfortable for a fair price (for Waikiki).

It was a few blocks from the beach. Unfortunately after a very long travel day, I had to clean the bathroom, kitchen and fridge. There was hair in the fridge and food spilled in there. The bathroom mirror and counter was really dirty. The shower had hairs in it as well. The drapes don’t close in the living room so you can sleep beyond sun up. The televisions didn’t work. The outlet in the bathroom don’t work. The hall light doesn’t work. Two different days we had no power all day. The twin beds aren’t comfortable. It was such a hassle to try and find another place and once we unpacked and had groceries delivered, it was inconvenient to move. Hopefully they provide a partial refund and don’t charge a cleaning fee! Also, it’s nice to take a break from the beach and relax at the pool but you only get sun until 12:30pm as the building completely shades the pool.

Wonderful view

We stayed for a month so we experienced it all. The room was the perfect size for my daughter and I. End unit so you get a great view of the ocean and surrounding locations. Basic amenities provided. Great pool deck and picnic area. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Waikiki area close to beach and food options.

Perfect family spot

We had so much fun on our trip to Hawaii. The room was perfect, nice easy walking distance from the beach and strip. We had an issue with the parking pass while there and the property management responded immediately and got us a new one right away! Amazing time will definitely stay again! Thank you Alohana Realty

Amazing location and property

This place was perfect for our family of 4. The location was great, we had enough space for us, and amenities were great, and free parking was awesome. The photos of the room are very accurate.

Note to Owner

The plastic card key was warped and per Security is no longer used since it has been replaced by the FOB. I recommend that you dispose of the card key to avoid confusion.

Waikiki Return

We’ve stayed in several condos in the Waikiki Sunset on previous trips to Waikiki. This one is definitely in the top five! Very clean and updated nicely! The Alohana management was wonderful to work with! Very professional! Will definitely rent this one again!

Convenient location & great room!

My friend and I loved our stay here. The location was very convenient, the room smelled amazing when we walked in and it was clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. We had no issues checking in and communications regarding our stay was clear and efficient. I would recommend and I would also stay there again.

Mom & sons vacation

This was the perfect space for my 2 adult sons & me. The 2 twin beds in the bedroom were perfect for the guys, & I stayed on the sofa bed. Location was really convenient--just a short walk to Waikiki beaches. From the balcony you could see the ocean--got a few great pics of sail boats in the morning. Would definitely stay again!

Good Enough. Would Stay Elsewhere Next Time.

In short, this condo is in a decent location, and the managers fixed the things we told them about. But I wouldn’t stay here again. Here are the details: Pros: - Location. - Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. - Parking and WiFi included. - Bedroom has twin beds, good for kids who won't sleep in same bed. - Management fixed the things we told them about. Cons: - We had to tell management about a lot of things while we were there, & the 24/7 line doesn’t always work. The toilet overflowed from pee alone. We left a message before 7 am and then left. I called the office again at 1pm and was told they hadn’t received the message. The pool toilets were closed. Where were we supposed to use a toilet in the building? The plumber was there and fixed the toilet within 2 hours after I called the second time. - There was no plunger on site. “There’s supposed to be one." A new one was there upon returning from dinner. - There were no sleeping pillows for us on the fold out couch. “They are supposed to be there." They suggested we remove the pillows from the shams in the bedroom, but there were no pillow covers for these. “They’re supposed to have covers.” Housecleaning brought some later. - It feels like the bare minimum is done here. Ex: A dish towel in the kitchen would be nice. Curtain rod in living room was half hanging off the ceiling. (The latter was fixed.) - The fold out couch “memory foam” has lost most of its foam on the upper half. It’s 1 in thick at the top & dives pretty deeply to the middle. We slept upside down to maximize comfort. - Needs a deep clean. Dirt/grime is easily visible on the baseboard, around the edges of the bathtub, etc. - Not cleaned well between users. The sheets on the fold out couch had rice, seasoning, hair on them. There were food wrappers under the couch and trash under the beds. - City noise is loud when windows are open. Entry door with large gap at bottom, so you hear everything from hallway. - AC worked only intermittently. Didn't report this since not a big deal for us. - Pool often closed. I don’t know why. Not a big deal for us: we were there for the ocean. - Don’t expect a warm and fuzzy vibe here. I usually spoke with a woman who always seemed stressed. The man I spoke to once was more personable. The building itself is basic, which saves money, but if you’re looking for a grand entryway that makes you feel like you’re on vacation in a tropical paradise, this isn’t your place.
