"We basically lived in the hot tub all weekend and it was so relaxing and fun! The fire pit was a lovely spot to roast s’mores, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for another wonderful stay!!"
"As the groom, I stayed here so I could be close to the Home Course golf course where I got married at. It is very close to the course, so running errands between the Vrbo and course was easy. The house was cozy. Big living room with connecting kitchen with stools. Back patio as well with a nice garden. Very large closet in the master bedroom which also has a balcony above the back patio. 2.5 bathrooms. Very large couch downstairs with large screen TV. Safe and family oriented neighborhood. Driving distance to Fort Lewis and Steilacoom (which is a scenic town with about three bars). Large double door refrigerator. Great place. Modern decor with personal charm. "
"We had a group of 10 people, including children and adults. This was a great accomodation to fit us all. We added a tucked away futon to the twin bedroom and two kids slept on the L- shaped couch instead of the pull out sofa because it was quick and easy. Lots of linens and towels were available. Host brought us dish soap when we were running out. The arcade machines were a hit with the kids.
The best part of the location is that it's a block or two away from Lake Josephine that doesn't have any motorized boats. If you have access to kayaks, definitely bring them! Our crew had fun swimming there as well.
I will note that we had a little mouse situation on the last day, getting into our loaves of bread and a new bag of chips. We didn't have any issues the previous days and it's country living so it doesn't bother me, but just wanted to give a heads up to keep an eye on your food or keep it in a tub with a lid. The only other thing I'd wish for was enough plates and bowls for everyone, but we were able to make do.
Overall, we are very grateful to be able to stay at this place and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you to Chris for making this available!"
