"Very clean and spacious room. We arrived late at night and the front desk person was super friendly, accommodated our needs with our pets and the overall stay was just a great experience."
"This house was perfect for our stay! It is spacious, updated, tastefully decorated and has a beautiful view. In warmer weather, the deck would have been a great place to enjoy the view, but in the cooler temperatures, the hot tub was a nice outdoor feature. The beds were comfortable, though very high, which might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The house was clean and I appreciated that basic items like hand soap, laundry detergent, hand lotion, toilet paper and paper towels were all provided. I also appreciated that other useful items like storage bags, foil, tea and spices were available as well. My only complaint would be that the shower heads weren’t great, and getting the water to come out warm in the master shower was counterintuitive- the further you turned the handle toward warm, the colder it got (handle at 2:30 on a clock face seemed to be the sweet spot for anyone who needs to know). The location is fairly remote, but it’s only about 15 minutes to downtown Durango. We would definitely stay here again."
"We were here several years ago under different owners. I’m so thankful Desiree and Rob took it over. It’s a beautiful location just minutes from downtown Durango. We stayed in the Lightner Creek room this go around and it’s a roomy, comfortable room with a beautiful view of the back of the property. The bed is heavenly, the sheets are top notch, the towels are fluffy.
The breakfast both days was really great and the owners two small pups warmed my heart and ai was willing to give them all the pets.
Don’t miss the chance to stay here. We’re planning to come back another time of year. "
