We stayed here to be walking distance from the Alaska Train depot (easy peasy) and also walked to bike rental (Trek) to spend a great morning on the Tony Knowles Trail (saw a moose!).
Staff were helpful and friendly. Little gift shop had some excellent giftie options. They had a grab and go sandwich area. We were super pleased with our choice. 」

For people who stayed here years ago when it was under different management, I suggest you give it a try. I know for many Alaskans it has a bad reputation, but things have changed for the better. 」
