"Our stay at the Berry Hill Lake property was awesome. The home is beautiful and well maintained. The owner/property manager was very responsive. I wish there were more pictures of the Bunk House in the listing. The bunk “house” is actually a converted shipping container which our group thought was pretty cool. Theres a nice deck on top of it too with lounge chairs. The bunk house is also further away from the main house than originally anticipated. A short walk through the woods. Wasn’t an issue for us but just something that could be more clear in the property description. "

"The house was very spacious and the layout was perfect for our family. Heating the first floor was very challenging though. I would try to find a way to better heat that second living room. Also, the fireplaces weren’t all working. This could be due to the extreme cold but I thought I would at least let you know."

It’s extremely well-equipped—we truly had everything we could have ever needed during our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with quality items, which made settling in easy.The kids loved spending time playing the board games, while the teens and adults enjoyed the pool table, making for great family time. The secluded location made it feel like a peaceful getaway, yet it was still just a short drive to Wintergreen resort. Although we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space due to the cold weather, it was a very nice area that would be perfect for warmer months. The home was also conveniently located near stores, breweries, and wineries, making it an ideal destination during the warmer months.Overall, this rental was fantastic, balancing comfort, space, and convenience. The owners thoughtfully created a space that provides enjoyment for families and friend groups. We would absolutely stay here again!"
