"Do not pass on booking this home! Absolutely everything a family could ever need is here…inside and out. Immaculate and well furnished, super comfortable king beds and bunk room, and that central wood fireplace…just wow. The kitchen is fully stocked and even offers a guest pantry for non-perishables. We are a family of 6 adults and 4 grandchildren (3,4,5,6 yo) and felt at home for our early Christmas family gathering. Having 8 inches of snow fall on our stay was pretty amazing too. Our grandchildren have already asked if we can come back again. "

The fall decorations in the house were a lovely, festive touch and the wall heaters in each of the bedrooms were a godsend, since we had some temps in the teens at night. The kitchen was one of the best-equipped that I've seen in a rental. Finally, the host was very helpful and quick to respond to messages."

"This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this property and I have no complaints whatsoever. It is so clean and comfortable. The kitchen is so well stocked with just about anything you would need to cook with. The owners are so kind and easy to contact and strive to make their mountain home a wonderful get away "home" to their guests. It is located in a beautiful setting with the Old Appalachian Trail right behind the property, which connects with the current AT. The beds are all so comfortable! I love having a wood burning fireplace to and this house has 3! I very highly recommend John and Marguerite's home in a mountain hollow in Wintergreen! "
