The kitchen was well equipped. Most of our awake time was with family in another house, but we welcomed returning to the quiet cabin. I'd like to return sometime when we have more time to explore the trail."

Its a beautiful home with expansive windows that let in lots of light and surrounded by trees on all sides. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, included a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and pots and pans. The owners were very responsive and communicative. Inside wintergreen resort and very convenient to hikes and overlooks. Recommend. "

"The Shamokin Chalet (Grand Chalet) was a gorgeous home with amazing mountain views! It was one of the most well appointed homes I’ve stayed in - well stocked kitchen (paper products, spices, dishes, cooking supplies, coffees), shampoos, conditioners, body wash, toilet paper and plenty of towels in all bathrooms, even beach towels for the hot tub. The home was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The landscaping was gorgeous. It had the most massive TV I’ve ever seen. The owner was a great communicator, texts were timely and he was quick to respond. My family would definitely come back to this lovely home! "
