「We had a fantastic stay at The Vanguard in York. Set in a residential area, it’s a well-located base just a 15–20 minute stroll from the city’s main attractions.
The interior was spotless, modern and well-equipped. Self check-in was easy, and communication via WhatsApp was smooth and efficient. The manager was responsive and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay — including arranging parking (on-street or off-street) and a late check-out that made our final day much...

My room was less than spacious, though the ceiling was very high which helped it feel bigger (and the four poster bed was fab). I loved the help-yourself pantry, and the skin and hair products were lovely.」
